解读:表达具体在几月几日,用介词on。
2.— When is your birthday? 你的生日是哪天?
— My birthday is on April 4th. 我的生日是4月4日。
解读:询问某人的生日,生日birthday之前用形容词性物主代词或名词所有格。如: his birthday, Lisa’s birthday。
举一反三: — When is your mother’s birthday? 你妈妈的生日是哪天?
— It’s on December 16th. 12月16日。
四、了解句型
1.The kittens can walk now. 小猫现在会走了。
解读: can是情态动词,后面接动词原形。
2.I can’t sing well. 我唱得不好。
解读: can的否定形式是can not,其缩写形式是can’t。
